This event was put together by the Park and the City Committee, City of Niagara Falls Staff and Staff from local TD Branches. Funding for this event was provided by the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, which funded not only this event in September, but also over 100 others across Canada in an effort to reach a goal of completing 1 million tree plantings by the year 2030. On September 21, 2019, all partnerships planted 450 trees and shrubs, creating a nursery that will be used for years to come.
