Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Annual Summit

In 2024 and 2025 The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee began their annual Summit with the theme of the event being Why DEI Matters:  One Community, Different Perspectives. The aim was to raise awareness of the importance of DEI and to include community stakeholders who will provide different perspectives of how an inclusive community environment is fostered featuring panelists from Niagara Health, the University of Niagara Falls Canada, the Niagara Region and Niagara Falls Community Health Centre.  As the Vice Chair, Sheila was an instrumental part of the organization of the event and bringing panelists to the stage.
